Sansevieria

Sansevieria plant is a type of indoor house plant, which is a nice flowering plant and it belongs from family of “Asparagaceae”. Scientific name of this plant is “Sansevieria trifasciata” that is commonly known as “Snake Plant” and “Mother-In-Law's Tongue”. Its green colored leaves are long and look like a snake, so it is known as snake plant. This plant blooms white colored flowers that makes it much attracted. It is an evergreen plant that helps to decorate indoors of any house or resort.

Sansevieria plant needs sophisticated and proper care. This plant prefers sunlight but full sunlight is harmful for this plant. This plant loves warm weather; below 10°C temperature can be damage this plant. This plant does not need much water for its well growth; it needs poor watering in growing season and in non growing season reduced watering is preferable. Well drained soil is good for this plant and very poor fertilizer is preferable for this plants growing time. In non growing time it must not need fertilizing.
