Chlorophytum (Spider Plant)

Chlorophytum plant is an indoor and flowering plant that is known as “Spider Plant” and it belongs from family of “Asparagaceae”. Its scientific name is “Chlorophytum comosum” and it is an evergreen houseplant. The color of its flower is white and leaves are colorful.

It grows best in sunlight and it tolerates direct sunlight. But in midday, it must be avoid sunlight for its growth. Summer season is growing season of this plant, in growing time it needs moist in soil. So it needs regular watering for its well growth and in non growing time means Winter nd Spring season, soil can be dry, it is not affected its growth. But it does not tolerate frost, so it needs frost free weather for its growth. Chlorophytum plant prefers temperature “between 10°C to 20°C” for its well growth.
