Hoya
Hoya plant, which is commonly known as “wax plant” or “Indian rope plant” and it, is an indoor house plant. This plant belongs from family of “Apocynaceae” and scientific name of this plant is “Hoya carnosa” and “Hoya kerrii”. It has very nice heart, oval and long shaped leaves and it grows variable like white, pink, red and yellowish flowers. This plant uses as decorative plant which can help to decorate indoors. Hoya plants have different species in different places.
Hoya plant grows well in hanging basket; either container or pot is preferable. This plant requires indirect sunlight, so it needs shade to protect from direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can be damaged this flowering plant. This plant is not choosy in soil, but soil must have well drainage; because standing soil will be cause die of this plant. It needs moist soil in its growing and blooming time like spring and summer; for moist soil it needs regular watering like once or twice in a week. Hoya plant prefers temperature ‘between 15°C to 25°C’ and below 5°C temperature can be harmful for this plant growth. Its growing and blossoming season it needs fertilizing but so poor. Excess fertilizing will be cause of die of this plant.
