Vasa

The plant Vasa is Sanskrit name of an herbal plant, which is known as “Malabar nut” in English. In Bengali it is known as “Bakash” and scientific name of this plant is “Adhatoda beddomei” and “Justicia adhatoda” that belongs from family of “Acanthaceae”. It is a type of shrub, and a small tree; its flowers are white colored and fruits are like nut or capsules. Whole plant is used for medicinal purposes and it is a rare type of medicinal plant. This plant is used for treatment of asthma, bronchitis, coughing problem, eye disease, normal bleeding etc. It also used to protect skin problem and especially used for internal hemorrhage. It is good for low blood pressure.
