Vai Vidang

Vaividang plant is an herbal plant, which is scientifically known as "Embelia ribes" and belonging from family of "Myrsinaceae" that is commonly known as "False Black Pepper". Its fruits, seeds and leaves are useable for medicinal purpose. This plant blooms in Summer season and produce fruits in early Rainy season to Autumn season. Its flowers are green or white in color and round fruits are black or red in color. This plant is used for treatment of heart disease, lung disease, indigestion, headache etc. It is also used for a tonic of brain. Black cotton soil and tropical climatic condition is prferable for this plant growth; regular watering after a fortnight is good for this plant well and healthy growth.
