Tulsi

Tulsi plant is a very common herbal plant and it is a traditional plant of hindus plant. Tulsi plant belongs from family of "Lamiaceae", which is commonly known as "Holy Basil"; scientific name of this plant is "Ocimum tenuiflorum". Their have three types of tulsi plant like Ram Tulsi that is scientifically known as "Ocimum sanctum", Krishna Tulsi that is scientifically known as "Ocimum sanctum" and Vana Tulsi, scientific name of this plant is "Ocimum gratissimum". Tulsi plant is used for especially medicinal purpose and it is very useful for health. Its leaves are green or violet in color and leaves are most important medicinal part of this plant. Leaves and flowers of this plant is used for many purpose like treatment of stomach problem, broncitis, coughing, skin diseases, malaria etc. Leaves are used for make tonic and it is good for reduce cholesterol.
