Bael

A medicinal or Herbal Plant Bael plant is a fruit plant. Fruit of this plant is known as “Bael” and in Bengali it is known as “Bael” plant. It is commonly known as “stone apple”, “wood apple” and “Bilva” that is scientifically known as “Aegle marmelos”. Belongs from “Rutaceae” family, bael plant is a traditional fruit; its leaves and fruits are use for saintly offer to Lord Shiva by people those belong from Hindus religious. Flesh of this fruit is soft and yellowish in color; its shell is very hardy. This fruit is use for make juice and it is use for tuberculosis treatment.

Bael plants needs well drained sandy loam soil for its fast and healthy growth. It prefers organic fertilizer for its healthy growth and warm weather like Summer season is preferable for this plant growth.
