Anantamool

Anantamul plant is an herbal plant that belongs from family of “Asclepiadaceae”. Scientific name of this plant is “Hemidesmus indicus” and common name of this plant is “Indian Sarsaparilla” in English, “Sariba” in Sanskrit, “Anantamul” in Bengali and Hindi. Anantamul is a climber plant and an important medicinal plant. Leaves of this plant are greenish in color; flowers are green colored in outside and purple colored in inside. Its fruits are cylindrical in its shape. Root of this plant is mostly used in medicinal purposes. It is sometime used for traditional purposes. Anantamul plant is used for clean blood, treatment of urinal problem, arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, skin disease and nutritional problem. Its root is mostly used for medication of snakebite. It is also used in many face pack or cosmetic facial pack.
