Rose Apple is popular ornamental fruit plant, which is known as “Malabar Plum”, “Jambu” and “Chom pu” as its common name. This plant is belongs from family of “Myrtaceae” etc and scientific name of this plant is “Syzygium jambos”, “Eugenia jambos” and “Jambosa jambos” etc. it is known as “Jamrul” in Bengali. Rose apple is a seedless fruit that is white, pink, green and red in color. It is a juicy fruit, which has, rose flavored and it is used as food as fruit.

Rose apple needs loamy soil for its well growth and regular watering. This plant grows in full of sunlight and it hates frost. So it must be protect from frost, because of frost is cause of damage this plant growth. When plants are young then frost can affect of this plant.
