A fragrant and sweet flavored evergreen fruit plant Litchi plant, Litchi is fruit of this plant, which is a juicy fruit with delicate floral smell. It is known, as “Lichu” in Bengali that belongs from family of “Sapindaceae” and its scientific name is “Litchi chinensis”. Its fruit is red in color and flesh of its white colored; it has one brown colored seed. Red colored layer covers its flesh. Litchi is used as food like delicious fruit.

For Litchi’s fast growth, it needs moist soil and for moist soil it prefers regular watering. It must be need well-drained soil, because of staying water can be damaging for its growth. In growing time, it needs watering either reduced watering in non-growing time can be tolerable. Regular fertilizing once or twice in a week is preferable in growing time like from Spring season to Summer season of this plant. Standing water is harmful for this plant.
