Wild Canna (Sarbajaya)

Wild Canna is a flowering plant and also an herbal medicine plant. Its common name is “Canna Lily” or “Indian Shot” and Bengali name of this flower is “Sarbajaya”. “Canna Indica” is scientific name of wild canna flower and it belongs from “Cannaceae” family. In sunny areas this plant is growing well and this flower is mostly perfect for landscaping. It grows in summer season and it loves sunlight. In wetland this plant is growing well and it blocks water supply and also restrict flooding. A great use of wild canna plant is that this plant can soak up pollutants. It is variable in colors like yellow, orange, red and also red spot in yellow etc.
