Star Jasmine (Kunda)

Star Jasmine is a flowering and easy growing plant, which is known as “Kunda” in Bengali. Its common name is “Chinese Jasmine”, “Trader’s Compass” etc and scientific name of this star jasmine plant is “Trachelospermum jasminoides”.  Star jasmine is derivative Jasmine plant so it is also called “Confederate Jasmine” and it belongs from “Apocynaceae” family. It is white in color with small yellow round in middle. It needs regular watering for its well growing and sunlight must be need. In heavy hot season it must be need watering. Roots of this plant spread in deep of soil and it does not damaged by the drought. It is a pretty flower and it needs very quite maintenance. It is an evergreen plant and shape of its flower is like star. It grows season of Summer and Autumn and it has sweet scent.
