Royal Poinciana (Gulmohar / Krishnachura)

Royal Poinciana is flowering, ornamental plant and flame tree; in Bengali it is known as “Krishnachura” and in Hindi and Urdu it is known as “Gulmohar”. Scientific name of royal poinciana is “Delonix Regia”; it belongs from “Caesalpinioideae” subfamily and “Fabaceae” family. Its shape is like umbrella and it is plant of summer season. It is very beautiful and heavy flowering tree. It is variable in color like red, yellow and orange; it grows in temperate weather. It needs full sunlight for this plant growth and proper soil (like clay, loam and sandy) is good for royal poinciana plant growth. When this plant is young then regular watering must be need and also regular fertilizing. In cold weather it needs quite water and fertilizer and in dry season it needs regular maintenance.
